How to Download Youtube Videos on a Mac Computer

If you’re using a Mac computer, here’s how to download videos from YouTube:
- 1. Open Safari and go to YouTube.com (or whatever URL is for your site).
- Click on the “Downloads” tab at the top of the screen and then click “All”. You should see all of your videos here; some will be marked as “private” though – those are ones that have been marked for deletion by their creator.
- Click on a video that you want to download.
- Select the “Download” option from the dropdown menu.
- You’ll be prompted to save it as a PDF, MP4, or another format, depending on your computer’s software settings.
- You can then choose whether to save it locally or download it off-site (e.g. a cloud storage service). This can be useful if the video is taken down in the future so that you can still access it via your account (or just for safe-keeping). For example, you could save it to Dropbox and then access it from any other device – particularly useful if you’re using more than one of them!
